PERIPARTUM CARDIOMYOPATHY – A CLINICAL CASE

This article presents a clinical case of peripartum cardiomyopathy in 21-year-oldpatient with gestational age 32 weeks, accompanied by manifestationsof heart failure and Lown-Ganong-Levine (LGL) syndrome. The patient underwentlaboratory instrumental examinations, including echocardiography Holtermonitoring. Thyrotoxic was ruled out the process differentialdiagnosis. final diagnosis management were determinedafter consultation State Institution "Institute Pediatrics, Obstetrics andGynecology, named after Academician O.M. Lukyanova, National Academy ofMedical Sciences Ukraine". Medical treatment significantly improved patient'scondition vaginal delivery went without complications. Manifestations theperipartum gradually regressed completely disappeared 6 monthsafter delivery.This indicates importance timely cardiomyopathyfor positive prognosis patients.
